    Since I am so sure it is a hardware problem, take the time to create a system image before you restore to factory settings. That way you can revert back to the current state if (when!) the BSODs return.

    Thanks Jonathan, Duly noted, I'll bring a 1tb drive in on Monday and create an image. I managed 7 hours of photoshop yesterday and it never fell over... that's never going to last!
