    BSOD and subsequent failure to boot


    A BSOD appeared on my screen and windows failed to boot on all subsequent attempts. A fresh installation of Windows also didn't complete, because the BSOD shows up again.

    Current OS: Windows 7 x86 Professional
    Original OS: Windows Vista Home Premium x86
    System: HP Pavilion dv2910tx (bought in November 2008)
    Windows 7 installed 9-10 months ago.

    Hello and Welcome !

    Seems like Marvell Yukon Ethernet Controller is causing the System to crash. Uninstall and reinstall driver. First thing i would recommend to uninstall Kaspersky completely and use the Removal Tool use this guide Removal tool for Kaspersky Lab products

    There are lot of old dated drivers please update them
