Also, in msconfig under Boot, there is still the PSUNmain.exe, but under Services the Panda service are not shown any more.

Lets use this and hope that it cleans the remanants and the msconfig under boot. If it does not, we can stop it from booting through msconfig.

I have used CCleaner many times during the last 2 weeks, trying to get rid of all problems.

I have the PSUNmain.exe unchecked under Boot.

After using Perfect Uninstaller (which did not remove the three files) I downloaded the installer for the Panda and installed it again. Then I ran the same installer once more, to uninstall it. This took all out - then afterwards lots of CCleaner.

But I have just noticed that in Control Panel, there is still a Panda - click on it, nothing happens. Not even a process starting.

    Driver In Use During BSOD

Sorry did not forget about you, but I was on the right track and did not want to stop. My choice was to get off the track or post. I think that this post will justify the delay. I hope for success. Follow instructions and I hope that no more BSOD (disclaimer at the end of analysis)

Update these drivers in bold. Top priority must be given to asacapi and sptd.
Asacpi.sys is a driver from the Austek Computer Corp. Your driver is very old and is known to cause BSOD's in current Windows versions; it must be updated
    http://support.asus.com/download/dow...Language=en-us
You indicated that you updated drivers, a case of too many cook spoiling the soup, I have to go by what I see on the dump report.
Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done:
    www.duplexsecure.com/en/downloads
    If overclocking restore normal settings
    SFC /scannow
    System Files - SFC Command
Update outdated listed drivers. If I have inadvertently listed any Microsoft Drivers, they can be ignored.
Uninstall your current Anti Virus and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials.
    www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/
    Scan with your Anti Virus

    How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - The most common drivers are listed on this page: http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html
To remove any left over driver remnants, especially from graphics cards, use driver sweeper
    www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/

After performing all of the above, post back with any new BSOD reports, or indicate that the attempted repairs were successful.
If any links do not work, if clicked, please copy and paste to browser address bar.
Remember that several attempts may be required before we can solve your BSOD problem. These reports are not definitive but merely point the way to a solution.

    Dear Richard

    Thanks for this detailed help.
Right now I am at work, but will try it out as soon as I get home.
    I will post the results.

    What I have already done:
    - Uninstalled my AV and replaced it with MSE.
    - SFC /SCANNOW, three times, with nothing to repair.

I can tell now that I have a hard time removing the cledx.sys.
I am not able to completely wipe it out of my system, and when installing it again, I cannot use it, as Windows claims it is not win32 compatible.
If you have any good ideas as to how to remove it, it would be much appreciated.

I will get back later today.
Thank you very much so far.

Go to the driver, change the cldex.sys to cldex.bup, then boot. Its gone for all intents and purposes.
    C:/windows/system32/drivers.

I hope that it is not necessary, but after all the above steps are completed and you still get BSOD, here is the definitive list of old drivers that need to be replaced.

    giveio.sys Wed Apr 03 22:33:25 1996
    ASACPI.sys Thu Aug 12 22:52:52 2004 =This could be the BSOD cause.
    cledx.sys Mon May 09 14:08:41 2005
    RT2500.sys Thu Jun 01 10:37:56 2006
    speedfan.sys Sun Sep 24 09:28:47 2006
    ckldrv.sys Mon Mar 17 12:45:52 2008
    atjolmce.SYS Wed Dec 03 13:18:18 2008
    amdxata.sys Tue May 19 13:57:35 2009

    Some free advice.
If you want to check on your progress of installing new drivers.
Type cmd in search. In the cmd prompt type driverquery. You will see pertinent infomation for all the drivers currently loaded.

    Finally got back home.

The link you provided for the asacpi.sys driver does not work for me. (Page not found)
Then I go to the Asus download page, choose my motherboard model (P5K) and then the OS - Windows 7 is not on the list, so I tried Windows Vista 32bit. Found the driver download, but when trying installing it, either from the .exe file from the package or through Device Manager by locating the newly downloaded driver, I get the error - Not compatible with your OS.

Now i go uninstall Daemon Tools and SPTD driver. Will post the results.

Asacpi is known as a common cause of BSOD unless updated.

Im off to Dentist soon, may have to wait for replies.

Download the vista driver to desktop. When ready to install right click, use compatiblity mode.
