Totem, you need to uninstall Norton/Symantec using this uninstall tool: Info > Tool. Norton is known to cause BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Once you get your system stable, you can try it again. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials while you are troubleshooting and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on.

If the video grabber is incompatible with 7, then there is not much to do about it. Get a new 7 compatible grabber, or use this old one in XP.

Oh...I missed your post, was searching for that cool grabber. It's incompatible with 7.

Yes, a chance uninstalling Norton will make it a little better. I'd also replace it waith MSE.

Can i get any further help on this? because i seen a post that someone was running sony vegas pro 9.0. and that some of you are running sony vegas pro 9.0a
i am using sony vegas pro 9.e
is it the drives that are messed?

Yes norton is uninstalled. and that microsoft security is replacing it. what next? some of the drivers updates i cannot find on the web.
