    Pinnacle Studio
Pinnacle Systems - Product Support. If you cannot update this driver, it will mean this software is obsolete and not designed to run on Win 7. You will need to complete uninstall it and upgrade to a program certified to be compatible with Win7.

The above four drivers relate to your Dazzle DVC100 capture card, which of course deals with data streaming. You should be able to update them from here - Pinnacle - Dazzle* Hardware Installer for Studio 10. If you cannot update these drivers, it will mean this hardware and software is obsolete and not designed to run on Win 7. You will need to complete uninstall it and upgrade to hardware certified to be compatible with Win7.

USB 28xx Video - USB 28xx WDM Driver - eMPIA Technology, Inc. Windows Driver Package - eMPIA Technology Inc, (emAudio) MEDIA Software Informer: Latest version download, news and info about this EMPIA Technology Inc, program.. I do not know if this package contains updates for Win 7. Review this post:

Bottom line - You are trying to run hardware and software designed for XP. It will not work properly with the Windows 7 operating system. You will have to upgrade to hardware and software compatible with Windows 7.

Hi. i got a brand new computer. same one. traded it in. and i seen that sony vegas pro 9.a is better then 9.0e, however i cannot find out how to get 9.0a
i seen some comments that 9.0a doesnt crash, is sony vegas pro 9 good for windows seven. it was only the pinnacle that was messing it up right? all my drivers are updated, and i was think about a Hauppauge Hd PVR, those are good for windows seven correct? its more advanced, and it isnt like the Dazzle recorder i used with my other computer.
    Thank you

Here is how to see what is compatible with Windows 7 and what is not: Windows 7 Compatibility: Software Programs & Hardware Devices: Find Updates, Drivers, & Downloads. You can check hardware and software. I searched to see if Hauppauge Hd PVR was compatible; I could not find that it was even listed. Visit this link for the PVR's that are compatible with Win 7:

Windows 7 Compatibility for Hauppauge Hd PVR: Drivers, Updates, Downloads

Pinnacle was definitely messing with your system as was the Dazzle capture card. If you have updated this hardware and software, your system should do a lot better. Remember, the old XP stuff will not work well with Win 7.

You are welcome, Totem; I am glad to be able to offer a little help.

Regarding Hd Pvr Hauppage. It is not listed on the MS site so I have no idea one way or the other. You can certainly try it. If it works you can submit it to the MS site for review. If it does not work, you can always uninstall it and try something else. It is worth a try. Let us know.
