Windows 7 Crashes

Ok, about three months ago I bought Windows 7 Home Premium fresh install disk from Office Max. I installed it, no problem... but two days later it starts acting weird, first it slows down, it will freeze, and take forever to respond. It will take a hour to shut down, and then when I turn it on, it says I have to run startup repair, I run that, and then it says that it can't repair it. I reinstall Windows and then two or three days later, the same stuff happens. Please help! But give me simple instructions, please!

Sounds like hardware
Check memory with memtest86
Download memtest86 and test RAM

Everything is fixable.. If there is a problem with memory you may have to buy RAM. It is cheap though. But lets wait and see what the problem is. It may not be memory at all.
