Windows 7 Freeze+Sound Distortion=Automatic Reboot?
Hey all,
I'm having problems with my new(ish) computer. Basically, it's started a strange thing where it suddenly runs slowly, that is, the mouse moves very jerkily and the sound becomes slow and distorted. It then completely freezes for a few seconds and automatically restarts. Usually, after it's done that it doesn't do it again...until the next day or few days after. :/ So far, it's usually happened about half an hour to an hour after turning it on. It also seems to happen even though I'm doing nothing intensive.
I should also mention that windows keeps failing to update itself...and the action centre also fails when I ask it to check for a solution. These are all recent problems. I'm wondering if I got a virus.
Anyway, these are the details for the reboot problem:
Description
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xfffffa8006df2798, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\Minidump\093010-23556-01.dmp. Report Id: 093010-23556-01.
I have a Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM. I've had this computer for around four weeks. However, it is refurbished and so I believe the actual computer is about 5 months old.
Any ideas? I'd appreciate any help. :) Thank you!!
