BSODs while using any torrent program

For the past few weeks, every time I open a torrent client (Vuze or uTorrent), Windows 7 crashes and gives me a blue screen of death. However, this has also happened when I'm just browsing the internet or playing music from Windows Media Player. I'm running the free version of Avast! anti-virus, maybe that is causing the problem?

Hello and Welcome !

Seems like the Dumps are pointing to Core Windows Files. Lets do some basic steps. Run a Hardware Diagnostic (Memory and Hard Drive) follow this link for instructions Hardware Diagnostic !! « Captain Debugger

Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Update the Following Drivers:

Code:
UVCFTR_S.SYS Sat Apr 14 08:02:12 2007
TVALZ_O.SYS Fri Nov 09 08:38:41 2007
agrsm64.sys Mon Nov 10 20:31:35 2008
Bugcheck:

Code:
KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)
The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error. Also see
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
If the error status is 0xC000000E, 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff6fc40009968, lock type that was held (value 1,2,3, or PTE address)
Arg2: ffffffffc000000e, error status (normally i/o status code)
Arg3: 0000000066216860, current process (virtual address for lock type 3, or PTE)
Arg4: fffff8800132dc7c, virtual address that could not be in-paged (or PTE contents if arg1 is a PTE address)

Debugging Details:
------------------

halp! Still a problem...

It's been a few months and I'm still having this problem. This afternoon I ran the Memtest86+ for about 7 passes and got no errors. I also ran the hardware chkdsk and received no errors back on that report. I also ran the system file checker and received no errors on that as well.

I've tried to defrag my computer 3 times today (running no other active programs and without being connected to the interned) and I still got bluescreens. I've been averaging about 1 BSOD a day and it really has me concerned about the health of my laptop.

I've bought a cooling pad and I've blown out the fan and vents (it's a Toshiba...so I thought it may be an overheating thing...). However, nothing has helped. I'm at a loss with what to do!

Thank you for any help,

Sarah
