Nvidia 8800GTX BSOD

System-

Windows 7 64Bit
Intel Core i7 920
Gigabyte EX58-Extreme Motherbaord (Latest BIOS)
Corsair RAM (2 GB x 3)
Corsair Nova 250GB SATA + 1 TB Western Digital Hard Drive (No RAID)
Nvidia 8800GTX
850W Power Supply (Cooler Master)
Liquid Cooling with no overclocking.

Problem:

I re installed OS and did a lot of troubleshooting using Driver Verifier and my BIOS settings. What I finally learnt is that everything is stable except my Nvidia 8800GTX.
I had no problems (even with Driver verifier) when I installed VGA Driver for 8800GTX. But when I install the Nvidia Drivers (WHQL) I get a BSOD as boot time.
I even ran Driver verifier only for 1 driver that is Nvidia and it BSOD. But when I ran driver verifier for all other drivers system was stable.

SO, the main problem is Nvidia 8800GTX.

What I tried?
I tried 5+ drivers from Nvidia and MSI with no luck. I tried firmware upgrade and no luck. My graphics card use Liquid cooling and temps are fine (below 60) so it is not heat issue. I always get BSOD pointing to IRQL and it seems like a issue with my graphics card trying to access memory. Memory is fine (Memtest Pass for 8 hours).


Please tell what should I do to fix this issue.

You've pretty much covered the basics (if not all) in trying to isolate the problem.:)
My suggestion would be to try another Nvidia card just to verify or confirm if your current card is still working.

I can't do that. My card is fit in and there are wter tubes which prevents it from removing. I have installed Aquagate Liquid Cooling and I will have to drain and re assemble it which is real pain.
Any other suggestions.

PS: I tried 182 beta driver and there are very less BSOD (1 in 10) but the Windows Experience rating has fallen from 6.9 to 6 and Windows hangs some times at loading screen.

This should be the correct driver NVIDIA DRIVERS 258.96 WHQL.

Otherwise i would have to agree with Lomai and try a different card to see if you still have the problem.

Yup. I have tried that one. I can't check some other Nvidia card because I don't have and this one cant be moved to other PCI Express slot. Can there be settings that are incorrect in BIOS? I am using Gigabyte ex58-extreme motherboard. All the settings (like PCI Express Voltage etc) are set to default. What should I do now?

Maybe looking at the dump files will tell you more info about the problem.

Well I already looked at the Dump Files and analyzed them by debugging software and they point to system drivers like ntfs.sys, ci.dll, etc which means there is so hardware or memory issue or configuration issue.
Now, this happens only with Nvidia Drivers installed so there must be some problem with my graphic card interfering with the memory as I said in my first post.

I even tried the 260 series Beta Drivers and some old drivers still BSOD. Can't figure out anything.

Any body?
