So i stress tested my cpu with Prime95

currently i am typing from my gf's comp. Since my own shut down and is not able to boot now. When i insert power cable, the lights flashes for a 1/10 of a second, then goes black.

I did monitor the temperature, the comp shut down at around 72-74. :/

This describes the problem, specially the leds flashing for a fraction of a second.

It's fully possible the overheating temperatures have been the cause, and may be responsible for the latest problems. It's been two hours since your last post, try booting up again and see what happens.

I am not able to boot, since plugging in power cables does nothing, no led lights in the front panel lights.

    As in Mobo is dead.

Well that's a shame; try swapping out the motherboard for one with the same socket, so you don't have to pay for a new CPU as well if the motherboard is not the cause.
