    Mystery freeze, no BSOD

Hi, hopefully someone can pinpoint what has happenend.

    Windows 7 Ultimate 64
    Retail, self installed, own build

My full systemspecs are below; oldest part is probably a year old.
I did a clean OS install approx 5 weeks ago; windows & drivers are up to date, & i'm using Microsoft Security Essentials.

I was having some freeze problems before, but only while running uTorrent & Norton Internet Security 2010, however now my system froze twice in 2 days seconds after exiting a game (MW2) & that has never happened before since i've been running a LGA1156 system or this game.

    I tested:
    - 10 runs memtest86+ (5 each with v4.00 & v4.10) - no errors
    - 50 passes LinX 0.6.4, all memory - no errors
    - about 2 hours Furmark 1.8.2 dual GPU 1920x1200, stability test – all fine

Included are the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 & perfmon report.

    Thanks!

    A few suggestions:
Acronis truimage is good for moving a system image, but their backup software conflicts with windows backups & is probably causing your problem.. it's totally unnecessary when you have 7 ultimate
Remove the bonjour service if you don't have an iPhone or an ipod touch
Disable WMP network sharing service if you don't use WMP to share files in a homegroup.. that causes freezes on some systems

Aha ok, I was focussing on the hardware since the previous uTorrent-freezes pointed towards a hardware problem ( https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/114454-w7-ult-x64-freezes-when-running-torrent-client.html ).

Anyway, I only use Acronis to manually create (& if necessary load) a system image from other hdd's, so I don't need the services - & to be honest I thought I disabled all the automated services & clients from within the program. The Bonjour service I do need since I use an iPhone, & I never use wmp so that's now disabled aswell. Hope it works.

So do I understand correct that there was nothing in the dumps that points towards a hardware problem?

    Thanks again!
