Kernal Power Error 41

hey guys

ill just get straight to the point, this seems to be a prittty common error on widnows 7 at the moment however there seems to be little information on ways of soliving it. the problem is that my computer randomley restarts for no reason. when i look in the event view it says kernal power error and reads 'The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.'

its really strange i had this problem around christmas time last year and then it stopped but now it seems to be bk with avengence. last time it was doing this i replaced the cpu update all the software drivers etc, but it just seems to be doing it for no particular reason. i even took it into a pc speicalist who had no idea why either. my computer has plenty of cooling so its not overheating, its surge protected etc.

i was hoping that anyone out there could help shed some light on the situation

Submit your crash dumps for analysis from C:\Windows\Minidump, if you have any .dmp files in there, and please follow BSOD posting instructions as outlined in the sticky thread in Crashes and Debugging.

sorry i am abit computer illiterate to some extenet. there doesnt appear to be a minidump folder in c:\windows
its appear the error before is kernel event tracing event 2???

Type it into explorer's address bar, C:\Windows\Minidump, if you haven't had crash dumps the folder should be empty.

tried it and its asked me whether ive spelt it right, so im assuming its definatly not there

as for overheating im not sure it doesnt appear to be but ill have my mate check the bios and tempertautre for me and ill come back. i had the thermal paste done as christmas.

right-click My computer -> System properties -> Advanced tab -> Startup and Recovery -> In the Write debugging information drop-down box, choose Kernel memory dump.

Enable or Disbale 'Kernel Memory Dump' in Windows Vista or 7

yeah thats enabled and syas kernel memroy dump want that turning off?
