Just ran it again for 7 minutes, leveled off around 80c and no artifacts, fullscreen 1920x1200 on primary display.

Do you have (or can you borrow) a spare graphics card that you can use for a day or two to test? Furmark testing is nowhere near 100% reliable.

Can't get a hold of a graphics card to test with unless I buy a new one

Also another BSOD when playing bad company 2, screen froze for a second before going to bluescreen.

Hi,

This BSOD has gone back to the previous pattern of networking related BSODs.

However your driver is perfectly up to date.

Try running this stress test, and upload any more BSODs as you get them.

https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html (run the Blend test as well as the Small FFT test)

Haven't run the stress test yet, but I got a new type of blue screen code i haven't seen before, said something about memory management.

just tried runnin prime95, blend test and Worker#2 failed after a minute so i stopped the test and tried again. This time worker#2 failed within a minute. I attached a screenshot of the logs.

Not sure if i should run the other test yet or see what you make of this first.

I also had another blue screen before doing this. System has been acting pretty crappy today, had my headset die, computer just didn't recognize it anymore but a restart fixed it. Then a couple games crashed doing weird things like screen flickering black/white/background and my ram usage graph going waay up to 4gb, its never above 2 usually. Also had the screens and computer just freeze so i had to force a shutdown.

Ran prime95 for 11 hrs on FFT test and had no errors, still get an error within a minute on the blend test though. I suppose this means the cpu is bad or is it something else like memory?

As it passed the SmallFFTs, it is probably a RAM or Motherboard fault.

Get the RAM replaced first.

Well I did some more tests borrowing some 2x2gb memory sticks. System ran fine and it ran the blend tests fine. So I went back to my old memory and only put 2 sticks in, original memory is 4x1gb sticks. Turns out the computer runs fine when only 2 of the 4 ddr2 slots are being used. Ran both pairs of original memory in each dual channel slot and there were no problems. As soon as I stick all four back in the prime95 blend test fails.

I take it something may be messed up in the motherboard or maybe something else?

-Thanks

Hi,

Sorry about the delay, when busy over the holiday period some threads get missed.

Can you run fine with three slots used?

Have you discovered anything more since your last post?
