    BSOD

Hey peeps, i've been having computer problems the last 3 months. The problem i get is random freezing, no BSOD. I replaced most of my parts 2-3 times, except Vid card and PSU.

My buddy took my computer (he's a tech) and said video card is fine, he ran memtest for 1 day (no errors). He prim95'ed my cpu for 12 hours, temps were fine. He benched marked my video card and it came out above average.

I took it home and I started up SC2 and boom, computer freezes. NO BSOD. Just screen gets stuck. I restart, decide to run youtube and freezes again. I noticed the one thing he didn't check was my on board sound card. When i run sound, it crashes my computer (so i assumed atleast).

I did some research and found this post:

    GTX 470 Freezing

Very similar to what i was experiencing.

I noticed this post from the above post:

    http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.aspx?m=586183

I did do the above, but i didn't uninstall the drivers, i just disabled the audio. My computer for the first time stabalized for about 4 days. but..

Today I got my first BSOD, quite a few in a row actually. Was wondering if anyone can help me figure this out.

    Thank you.

    Computer:

    I7-950
    Gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r
    evga gtx 470
    kingston hyperx 6gb - khx1600c9d3k3

If you need more info, please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help.

One dump blames nvlddmkm.sys, part of your nvidia driver

Causes:bad RAM/PSU, incorrect RAM timings/voltages, bad Graphics card, overheating

It could be overheating in your case

Uninstall the Nvidia drivers then use driver sweeper to remove the leftover Nvidia files
    Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

    Then reinstall the Nvidia drivers:
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-64bit-260.89-whql-driver.html

This was likely caused by the following module: nvlddmkm.sys
    Bugcheck code: 0x116 (0xFFFFFA80069C03A0, 0xFFFFF88004948D0C, 0xFFFFFFFFC00000B5, 0xA)
    Error: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
