Hey, having a huge BSOD problem with my laptop and it's driving me insane!

I've ran anti spyware/virus, mem test and also a registry cleaner and this still hasn't fixed the problem. Any ideas? I'm desperate here

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Start your own thread in the appropriate section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.

The first parameter indicates a memory exception but the driver can only be determined from the DMP.

Ok

this crash was caused by a memory exception probably caused by the Sptd.sys file mentioned below.

I would remove the virtual HD software and run a memory test

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.


Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

You should remove the daemon tools/alcohol as their stpd.sys is a known bsod cause.

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

Hey, I'm still getting the problem unfortunatly. It's less sporadic but it still keeps happening, if I can actually boot into windows it seems stable but it seems to bluescreen about 50% of the time when I boot up, did the dmp give any other issues? Thanks again.
