SO explorer keeps killing its self. every time i close the "windows has stopped working" window, 3 seconds later it decides to die again.
It indicates ntdll.dll is the problem.. so i google it and it comes back as a system file and decide to "sfc /scannow" but it comes up with

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example
    C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

i now do an offline sfc and now it comes up with

There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart Windows and run sfc again.

i boot in to windows and try running sfc and it wont work...? any ideas

I have also tried a repair upgrade install of windows 7 x64 again but it has come up with compatibility problems and i cannot take that path, is there a manual way to copy all system files in to the windows directory again?

First try running sfc again. It often takes three runs to fix all the problems. If that doesnt work and you have a win 7 dvd you can do a repair install to fix those files.

    Its NOT a BSOD error

Just as information, Its NOT that severe and I didnt call it a BSOD problem cause I dont get a blue screen.
I only see the Control Panel menu and then it is overwritten with the error, preventing my from using the Control Panel menu. It's appearently some middleware that is executed when I choose the Control Panel that dies because of memory error or whatever?
