new build BSOD win7 64bit, i3 540 & MSI H55M-P31

Just threw together a new machine the other day only to have it bluescreen on me the first time I left it idling overnight with sleep/hibernate disabled. I didn't have the small kernel dump enabled for the very 1st BSOD, but it happened again last night, so I've got 1 large & one small dump

Its a fresh Win7 install with all Windows updates and latest drivers from MSI's site
Hardware:

Intel i3-540
MSI H55M-P31
Coolermaster Hyper 212+ heatsink
2x1GB Samsung DDR3 1066mhz
1TB WD10EALS hard drive (known working)
Antec Basiq Power 430w Continuous PSU

More info coming later, figured this would do for now
This time around I've actually got another full set of known working components to troubleshoot this with if need be. I figured I should seek advice early on rather than muddle though most of my 30day hardware RMA period on my own

BIOS gives me two temperature readings, CPU at 30-31C and the other at 27C (PC temp? cant recall exact name)

CPU Voltage shown in bios was 1.176v/1.182v

parameters are the exception record and context record. Do a .cxr
on the 3rd parameter and then kb to obtain a more informative stack

One of them was casused by Intel Matrix Storage, update it:

iaStor.sys Fri Oct 02 22:58:50 2009

Update also:

HECIx64.sys Thu Sep 17 22:54:16 2009
Intel Management Engine Interface

Check your hard drive for errors:

chkdsk /r /f
chkdsk sure takes forever on large volumes, lol

Both drivers updated and chkdsk is finished, will see if its stable now
thanks

Did the chkdsk find any errors?

I didn't notice any errors reported during the first 4 stages of chkdsk, but the last stage (checking free space) took several hours (its a 1TB drive), and while I checked back regularly (saw it up to 80% complete without issue) it seems the system simply continued to boot once it completed, the machine was @ desktop when I checked again
