    Continous Reboot Problems

Over the last few months I have had several issues with Windows 7. I am not very tech savy so please let me know any information I can provide to help with this. Any help is appreciated.

The problem happens after I have installed windows and it has been running for a few days. Programs will stop responding and when I reboot the computer it will get in to a reboot loop. It won't reboot and the repair can't fix it so it just continous to try and boot windows then restart the computer.

I have put in new RAM, video card and motherboard and still am getting this problem. I have reinstalled windows several times and have reformated the hard drive several times.

I am at my wits end. Everything runs fine for a day or two then it all crashes again.

I will give this a try. Can I ask what this changes or why it would cause this problem?

If my solution works, it means that there is a conflict which normally would make the computer shut down.
If my suggestion works, go to search and type event viewer and look for critical errors. They will tell you what has happened to cause the problem. You can report to us and we will try to fix it.

So it's just happened again. I started seeing problems and went to reboot and now it just keeps cycling.

I was playing a steam game that crashed. When I check the game us missing several files. Even though it was playing fine a few minutes ago. This has happened on several different games.

When I reboot it takes me to the options of startup repair or start windows normally. If I pick start windows normally it says windows is loading files and then testarts the computer. If I puck startup repair the screen blacks out then comes back to those two options.

    What do I do now?

Did you untick the box as I suggested?

    Is yes, try this

Take out the battery, (if Lappy)
    Remove main supply,
Hold power button down for 30 secs,
Put only power supply in, do not put battery in
    Turn laptop on
    Put the battery in.

Yes I did uncheck that box. It's a desktop not a laptop.

I have been able to get back to windows but now when I try and get to the event viewer I get this message.

MMC could not create the snap-in. The snap -in might not have been installed correctly.

    Name: Event Viewer

    CLSID: FX:{b05566ad-fe9-4363-be05-7a4cbb7cb510

Before the reboot I could go to the viewer and it worked fine

If you could get back to windows do a system restore, from a time when everything worked.
