Recent update from 2 weeks ago causes BSOD

And I cant stop it from installing....

So now I am in this endless cycle of restore...load windows...updates automatically install... than it reboots.. blue screens and forces another restore...

How do I fix this?

I'm not as technically savvy as others on this forum, but I would suggest reinstalling your O/S if you have the disk's you need.

Turn off automatic updates. Select this option:

Attachment 108954

Now you will be able to select the updates you install.

See, now Carl is very technically savvy, the only thing I'm curious about is the way you describe the situation xythil, is this whole process happening automatically without you doing anything or are you restarting once the download is finished? If you are manually restarting, then Carl's the man.

The week before this I was getting 60-90 ping (which is good for me) on the same games I play. Nothing has...

3 BSODs in the last six weeks, most recent was 0x00000101
I have had three BSODs in the past six weeks. First was on October 12, and definitely happened in the process of the normal restart of Windows I do each evening before bed, as I was watching and saw it happen. I don't know the details of the error, as it was somehow not logged. Second...

BSOD after a recent BIOS update. Rt64win7.sys related
I recently got a BSOD a few minutes after I updated my BIOS. After a quick Google search it might not be related. Most results pointing to a Realtek related problem. But I am not too sure about this so I've decided to ask someone confirm. I followed the option 1 in uploading information in this...

Multiple BSOD issues after recent Windows Update.
After awaking to a new windows update. I had been playing League of Legends and my whole compute would freeze. This happened twice in a row where I had to manually shut down my CPU. After that, seemingly any random act involving windows would send me to the blue screen of death. I've seen...

Unexplainable BSOD after recent update
The other day I had 17 updates to download, and after those I have had a streak of BSOD's, mainly while playing games on my computer, I have attached the files in C/windows/Minidump to help with registering why. Thanks a lot, Leyst.
