Random Bsod's , logs supplied

Hi all
My pc is sick suffering from random Bsod's
The problem only started to occour after i updated my gfx card from an ATI radeon HD 4870 to a gtx460.
Since i started to get them i have reformatted my pc with a new fresh instalation of windows 7 64 ultimate and have recieved my gfx card back from the supplier and was found "unfauty" following an RMA of it.

I have attached the dump fiiles provided by the "SF Diag Tool"

Please help so i can make my pc better again :) :)

One dump blame a hardware error, possibly a faulty graphic card
I suggest testing it in another PC or RMA it

Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try

This was likely caused by the following module: hardware

Error: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

I have had at least 10 Bsods since i changed the gfx card , most were before i Reformatted , but i am still getting them after the reformat
and as i already said i have already did an RMA on the gfx card before posting here

Joe, read through the link that yowan provided. You will have to systemically troubleshoot a 124 error code. I suggest that to begin your troubleshooting, you completely uninstall Avira using this removal tool: Tool. I cannot say Avira caused your crashes; but it is known to cause BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials in its place and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on.

Update this driver:

Outdated drivers can and do cause memory corruption and BSOD's. Uninstall Avira, update the Yukon drover, reboot and see how your system runs. If you get another BSOD, upload it and we will start testing hardware.

Thanks CarlTR6 i have updated the yk62x64.sys driver to one dated 15/9/10
I am having trouble tring to get the Avira removal tool as all i seem to get is a removal tool for removing viruses and when i click on the link above it just redirects me to their homepage.
I have downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials but need to uninstall avira 1st i take it removing it via uninstall manager is no good in this case ?

AV programs deeply entwine throughout your system. Usually the Windows built in removal does not get nearly all of the pieces. But you are right; I cannot find an uninstall tool either; Avira has changed their website and I think they do not have an uninstall tool. Download and install Revo Uninstaller (free). Use it to uninstall Avira. Revo will also find the registry entries. Delete those entries it finds only if you are sure these entries are associated with Avira. If you are not sure, do not delete.

I got another Bsod a few hrs ago,, so opened up the pc to feel around for heat etc,, thats when i noticed the excessive heat from the CPU hs,, yet the gfx card was freezing.
So i restarted pc,, and low and behold cpu fan has stopped working, so got temp fan on it atm,and running everest to monitor cpu temp till new fan arrives, if temp stays low and pc still bsods then i know that was not the prob, but i think it could be as when it bsods it usualy will not restart for about a min like it is in safe mode

Joe, did the new fan do the trick? Heat will definitely cause a crash.

since i installed the temp fan i have just had 1 Bsod and that was when i was running prime 95 ,, but today i took delivery of a proper replacement fan for the freezer pro7
So fingers crossed :)

I will cross mine, too. A BSOD running Prime could well be a heat issue. Let us know; I'm hoping!
