    Windows Explorer repeatedly crashing

    Hi,
My Windows Explorer keep crashing repeatedly and telling me that Waiting for Windows Explorer to respond and then that Windows Explorer has crashed and needs to be restarted. It then proceeds to restart itself but after a few minutes the problem happens again and continues repeating itself. My computer is also extremely slow and unresponsive. The problem persists in Safe Mode also.
I have System Restored the computer to a previous time when it was working correctly however the problem still occurs when I reboot the computer.
The problem occurs when I log into my user account, but when I log into my dad's account it doesn't happen and the computer runs normally.
How can I determine the cause of the problem and how can I fix it?
Any time spent on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    Try a clean boot
If that does not work we will try an SFC command
If that does not work, the account is corrupted and you will have to make a new one or a repair install.
But step one, the clean boot.
