STOP 0x9f on sleep/hibernate
I'm having the following problem with my laptop:
System info:
Windows 7 Ultimate x86
Dell Latitude D400 bought used last year, has run perfectly fine until the last two days
Upon hibernating or sleeping the computer, the screen blanks but the system remains powered on for several minutes. When it is powered back on, Windows reports that it was not properly shutdown, fails to load the hibernation state, and presents a dialog box when fully loaded with the BlueScreen code 9F.
I have been researching the issue on google and I believe that a Broadcom driver may be responsible. I have installed two Microsoft Hotfixes: KB975599 and KB981848 but neither has solved the problem.
I can't close my laptop lid without crashing! Any help is greatly appreciated.
