Flashing programs

I have problem with flashing programs, for example, while mozzila is runnig and i click somewhere on window it starts flashing, sometimes it flashs only on taskbar, i realy have problem with this.

i can see from task manager the svhost is using much of processor, if that can help

well i can't make screenshot, it seem like it's restarting over and over again, for example, taskbar program goes to the right of the row like i opened it last of all. and for flashing screen it's the same, just like it crashes and opens in millisecond but i can see it, and sometimes it is continual and it stops working for 5 seconds and starts again, it doesn't lose information, it continues normally , but it is flashing

Flashing the BIOS?
I have a abit VA-20 motherboard and I think I got the right file and when I put it into a bootable floppy and double click on it, it says it's not a true 32 bit. I have the message "BIOS ROM checksum error Detecting floppy drive A media. I did everything I can think of which is about 4 hours...
