Complex BSOD/repair problem

Okay im not sure what is going on but I am getting a stop 0x0000007b BSOD and when I go into my windows 7 installation CD to a command prompt it says under bootrec /scanos that my total windows installations are 0.

I have tried looking up people that have similar problems but I can't get anywhere following what happened to them.

I have windows 7 ultimate X86 retail

age of system and installation >1yr

This is usually either a hard drive or a boot issue.

Yes I know this. Also my windows 7 repair CD recognizes that I have a windows 7 installation but my bootrec says I have 0 windows installations.

I am running those tests now and will update when I am finished.

memory and HD passed inspection. malware i couldnt do because they were WEB tools and I can't get into windows.

If anyone else can help me please let me know. This probably has something to do with the boot.

Invalid opcode is common in the Seatools test, don't worry about it. Try the Hitachi Drive Fitness test instead.
Do you know what make your hard drive is?

Use option 2 here to create a system repair disk: System Repair Disc - Create
Then use this link to perform a startup repair: Startup Repair

I already did startup repair with my windows 7 install disc. It said it couldn't fix the problem. I think I need to rebuild the bootrec or something but when I typed that option into the command prompt it says it does not recognize any installations of windows even though my install disc does.

I'd post over in the General Discussion forums for assistance with that: General Discussion - Windows 7 Forums

How hard/complex is it to remove heatsink?
I was looking in my CPU because my HDD temp went up to 53C. I wanted to clean out the dust and noticed a lump of disgusting dust in my heatsink fan (if that's what it's called). So my question, is there a picture tutorial or video on how to remove and clean them? And is it safe for someone that...
