why would i want MSE+Malwarebytes? usually dont multiple AVs conflict?

The malwarebytes, free edition, does not run real time like MSE. Once a week you run a scan to make sure MSE did not miss anything. There are no conflicts.

starting a scan now with MSE hopefully i dont hang!

hehe and p.s. thanks for all the advice i created a restore point and removed my Webroot hopeully MSE does the job...

btw how do i create permissions for all my games? do i literally gotta go play them all and get a bunch of popups?

is there a reason to also get malware bytes or should i be fine with just MSE? tbh the less programs i have the better or is it strongly recommended?

The reason is that different software have different malware definitions. MSE, or any AV may miss some malware. You can check with Malwarebytes, but that is up to you.

so on its own malware bytes the free one is useless in theory it does nothing actively and must be SCANNED correct? it adds no real time protection? which is why it wont cause any issues gaming or with MSE? so getting Malwarebytes will be perfectly fine and i can just scan with that at random times?
