    Four BSODs

I have had four BSODs in the past couple weeks. They have occurred while gaming and just doing stuff like looking at pictures on my pc.
The pc came with Windows Vista 32 Bit and I bought the copy of Windows 7 64 Bit which was not supposed to an upgrade version but when I installed it, it kept my old files. So I reinstalled Windows Vista with the recovery disks then installed Windows 7.

Read the tutorial above and upload the files to us. We need the actual dumps and system reports.

Have you installed any new hardware or software recently?

Thanks much! I looked at all four dumps.

I recommend that you start your troubleshooting by uninstalling Norton/Symantec using this removal tool: Tool. Norton is a known cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on. Once you get your system stable, you try Norton again; but I do not recommend doing so.
Error code 1E (2X), KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. Usual causes: Device driver, hardware, System service, compatibility, Remote control programs, memory, BIOS.

Error code 3B, Usual causes: Device driver, hardware, System service, compatibility, Remote control programs, memory, BIOS. Usual causes: System service, Device driver, graphics driver, ?memory.

Error code 116, VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE. Usual causes: Video driver, overheating, bad video card, ?BIOS, ?Power to card
You have a hardware/hardware related problem. Two of the dumps blame a video card driver and three indicate memory corruption.

I find the following outdated drivers loading on your system. The driver in bold font is quite obsolete. Older drivers can and do cause memory corruption and BSOD's. Up date these drivers.
iteatapi.sys Wed May 14 02:54:25 2008 - ITE IT8211 ATA/ATAPI SCSI miniport driver from Integrated Technology ExpressITE Tech. Inc.

    iaStorV.sys Wed Apr 08 12:57:17 2009 - Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver (base)http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx

    e1e6032e.sys Tue Mar 24 14:17:23 2009 - Intel PRO/1000 Adapter NDIS 6 deserialized driverhttp://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx

LHidFilt.Sys Wed Jun 17 12:49:39 2009 - Logitech SetPoint HID Filter Driver Downloads

    LMouFilt LMouFilt.Sys Wed Jun 17 12:49:43 2009 - Logitech Mouse Filter driverDownloads
Uninstall Norton, update the above drivers - especially the one in bold font - and reboot. Let's see how your system runs. If you get another BSOD, upload and we will go from there. Keep us updated.

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000096, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff80002cc39a6, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, Parameter 0 of the exception

Read the tutorial above and upload the files to us. We need the actual dumps and system reports.

Have you installed any new hardware or software recently?
I followed the instructions. I posted the Health Report file and the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 file which I thought contained the dump files as well. I may not have done everything correctly. I haven't done this before so maybe I need a bit more detailed instruction.
The newest thing I installed are my mouse and keyboard. Logitech Cordless Wave keyboard and Logitech MX1100 Cordless mouse. I believe the BSODs began shortly after I installed them.
I recently updated my video driver from the manufacturer's website and I also recently installed HWMonitor and CCleaner.

I installed the newest version of Setpoint for the mouse and keyboard. I also went to the Intel update site and I just let it auto detect what I needed so hopefully I got the updates I need there. The one I wasn't sure about was the first driver you listed (iteatapi.sys). Is that my media card reader? If so, I'm not sure what update I would need since on Gateway support website it doesn't explicitly state what kind i have.
    http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/10...4737Rsp3.shtml
Actually I found the driver for the media card reader but it is from 2007 and and says it's for Windows Vista 32bit

If you help me with this last bit I can take care of Norton and then see how it runs.

I am still getting crashes. I updated all the drivers you recommended except for the iteatapi.sys. I had one crash a few days ago and one today.

Good job on updating the Intel and Logitech drivers. Iteatapi.sys is an obsolete driver. If you cannot find an updated driver, uninstall the hardware it is associated with. Without an updated driver, the hardware is obsolete and is not Win 7 compatible. You have not uninstalled Norton/Symantec and IaStorV.sys has not been updated. There is an update for this driver. It was implicated in your latest dump.

One of your dumps was corrupted and did not give any meaningful information.

Make uninstalling Norton your very next step; then uninstall the hardware associated with Iteatapi.sys. Thirdly, update iaStorV.sys. When dumps do not give us a specific cause or blame a Windows system driver, we have to troubleshoot. Troubleshooting involves eliminating every known potential cause of BSOD's. In your case, Norton and outdated drivers are potential causes. As I stated above, once you get your system stable, you can reinstall Norton and try it again. For now, uninstall it and install MSE. MSE and Windows Firewall will not cause BSOD's.
