    trouble starting up

hi i have a strange problem with my computer which seems to not like waking up. every morning it takes my computer 7 to 9 restarts before it finally loads completely. then once it loads it works just fine for the rest of the day. i have tried scannow several times, start-up repair is left baffled and i have tried to get into safe mode but i can get into it at roughly the same time as i can reach my desktop. I'm pretty sure that i have updated my drives or at least as far as the device manager is concerned.

the problem starts when i first start the computer it goes fine until it reaches the starting windows page where it freezes before the swirling lights of windows appear. so i shut it off

by the way i have a Alienware 17xR2 with an i7 CPU and a ATI mobility radeon HD 4870 and 500 GB hard-drive in RAID 1 with windows ultimate x64

i hope this is enough info

    Welcome
Try this to test and maybe fix
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

I checked your dump reports, it seems to be a driver problem. Lets see if you can boot with the above, if not we will further analyze your reports.

hi thanks for responding i tried a clean boot but just like i expected, nothing. i did half the services then the other half and then none of the startup and each time it worked just fine. that is the strange part of the problem if it was a consistent problem then it would make sense but to only occur in the morning and only within the first 7 or 8 times i start is frustrating to fix because i can't access anything that would fix problems halfway to safe mode blue screen, halfway through start-up repair, blue screen, everytime i start normally freezes or it gets to the log-on screen and then blue screen. and yet finally after several frustrating restarts i finally get access to a command prompt and try scannow but partway through it says it needs to reboot as it is in the middle of a disc-defrag or other scan program or when i finally go through a full startup repair it says it can't fix the problem and then finally when i can finish scannow it says it found nothing and then i can boot the computer normally as if nothing was wrong and to me it sounds like a virus but i hope not and that's why i thought it best to see what you all thought of it.

    Question
Does this problem happen at first boot in the morning, which is at the same time every day?

    Do several things
    Go to search
    type
    event viewer
Look errors or warning that are consistent at that time

    Go to search
    type
    task scheduler
Look for tasks scheduled for that time

Before you go to bed tonight, turn off all services per clean boot and see how it works tomorrow.

Do not turn off the internet, try to uninstall. Try on a morning when not doing clean boot.
    We have to know reasons.

    Ill check over the log
But I think the most imporant thing is tonight set up the clean boot and see how you boot tomorrow morning, untick all the services that can be set not to start up.
The next day uninstall the internet and see how it works that morning.
