Continuing saga of BSOD
I posted last week with regard to my BSOD problems. I have an HP Pavilion a6242n desktop with a 320 g hardrive, 3 g ram, AMD Athlon 64 x 2 processor and a Nvidia Geforce 6150 SE graphics. The system cam preloaded with Vista 32 bit. I did a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate and it kept blue screening. I sent in my reports and was advised to go back to Vista, which I did, but still got blue screens. Finally my system wouldn't even turn on, it would not recognize my hard drive. I replaced the hard drive with a 500 g brand new drive. I installed Windows 7 on it and everything was running OK, until I tried to play Bejewelled on Facebook. My whole system froze up (but didn't blue screen at this point) and the monitor hummed really loudly. I rebooted and soon thereafter it blue screened. I tried to run in safe mode, but it still blue screened. I let it rest overnight and it actually turned on this morning. So far it hasn't blue screened today, but I haven't tried to do anything graphic intensive. I suspected and was advised on this forum that my video card had caused my other crashes. I am including the latest BSOD dump report and the perfmon report. Can you tell me if it is still my video that is causing the BSOD. I updated my drivers when I installed Windows 7 for the second time on the new drive. Any help would be appreciated.

I looked at your five latest dumps. Only one of them indicated a video driver and that driver is up to date. However, you do have some outdated drivers loading on your system. The 2008 drivers are quite obsolete. Outdated drivers can and do cause memory corruption and BSOD's. I suggest that you take care of updating these drivers before moving on to testing hardware.

- I have listed links to most of the drivers in the code box above. Please use the links there to see what info I've found about those drivers.
- search Google for the name of the driver - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager). - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program. - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads If you need with the drivers, please post. After you update the above drivers, you can test your video card using Furmark following the instructions in the tutorial below. Be sure to monitor your temps while testing. Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark Post back with your results and let us know how your systems is doing. Code:
