The bugcheck code is 1A, Memory management.

Please uninstall Daemon Tools and leave it uninstalled. Run this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads. Select uninstall; do NOT select reinstall. When ttroublshooting, you have to eliminate all possible causes of BSOD's It is a process of elimination and Daemon is a known cause of BSOD's.

Here is a free alternative CD virtualization program that does not use the sptd.sys driver.
Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview.

Please uninstall Kaspersky using this removal tool: Tool. Kaspersky is a known cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials in it place. You can reinstall Kaspersky once you get your system stable; but I do not recommend doing so.

If uninstalling sptd.sys and Kaspersky does not stop the BSOD's, uninstall your InfoWatch software (CryptoStorage?). There is a good possibility this software is causing conflicts. You can always reinstall once you get your system stable and see if the BSOD's return.

The next step will be to test hardware if the above do not help.

Thanks for getting back Carl

I removed both of them. Just half an hour back I had another BSOD before I removed them both.

Here is the dump again:

Another thing....after the E drive went kaput, I installed HD tune pro and it gave me 181 pending unstable sectors. After defragging and wiping free space with defraggler and ccleaner respectively, the sectors were bought down to 7. Is the hard drive causing BSODs?

You error code is 24, NTFS file system. That points to a hard drive. However, other things can cause this error code: Disk corruption, insufficient physical memory, Device driver, Indexing, Resident antivirus, backup, defrag programs, Disk/Drive failing/failure. This is why you have to do a process of elimination. I am interested to see how your system does with Kaspersky and sptd.sys removed.

Third party security programs just do not do well with Win 7. This is due to Win 7's changed internal security programming. I am sure the third party manufacturers will get their acts together and figure it out; but for now many of these programs created problems on some Win 7 systems. If you get another BSOD now that you have removed Kaspsrsky and sptd.sys, I suggest you uninstall InfoWatch software CryptoStorage.

Keep a close watch on your drive E:. Bad sectors can be an early sign of disk failure. Check it weekly. If this is an older hard drive, I suggest you replace it. Definitely back up whatever you have on this drive. Routine backup/imaging of your whole system should be ongoing.

I don't know of any software like that which I have.

And yeah, I have been backing everything up constantly since that partition crashed.

Have you looked in Control Panel > Programs and Features for those two programs?

I looked at it now. And no, I can't find any software with that name there.

It is likely these two drivers are part of some other program then. Here is the information I have on them:
Quote:
CSCrySec.sys - Cryptographic Algorithm Lib Driver. from Infowatch. http://www.infowatch.ru/en

CSVirtualDiskDrv.sys - CryptoStorage, Virtual Volume Container Driver, from Infowatch. http://www.infowatch.ru/en
If you get another BSOD, create a restore point, using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, locate the driver files, and rename them from .sys to .bak. Reboot and the drivers will not load. This will break whatever software or hardware these drivers are associated with.

Duly noted. I'll rename them if I get one.
