crashing and random restarts

    I definitely agree with Tews. It should be a perfect match. Have you checked your motherboard's website or your motherboard manual to see what CPU is recommended?

    no i havent ill have a browse now an hopefully be able to find some conclusion to the problem i still think its the wrong processer chip

    just been lookin over things again an my processer box says x4 635 ... socket am3 the bit were it says 635 is that like the part that is wrong for my board ?

    jsut tryin 1 more thing .. iv disabled the onboard vga port an put my geforce 9400gt bak in ,,, see how it runs now an will post bak

    4get that 1 crashed after 3 mins of been bak on stupid thing is ready to be introduced to 2.5lb hammer

    hi no athlon IIx4 635 (adx635wfgmbox) 2.9 ghz .... just seen the numbers on the box didnt realise they was there lol im guessing the board dont support this processer?
