    BSOD ntfs.sys and win32k.sys

    Is Windows 7 . . .
    - x86 (32-bit)
    - Windows Vista, now Windows 7 Ultimate
    - an OEM

    - What is the age of system (hardware)? --> 1 year +
    - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) Installed windows 7 about 4-5 months ago.

I normally get a BSOD when im playing Sign Up for Facebook | Facebook . Sometimes its NTFS.sys sometimes its win32k.sys

    Thanks in advance :)

Edit: file attachment changed, with perfmon included

The causes of these have changed since the initial ones back in june. They are now hardware.

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .. A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint. Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress. You can read more on this error and what to try here... Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try

    Thanks

    Hi,

The most recent BSOD i got in the morning was stop 0x00000024 :) . I didnt take note of the others because i have no intention of fixing it till today morning when the situation gotten worst.

Edit: i want to add some extra info, i did memtestx86 with both rams on ( i didnt read the instructions then.) passed the test 9 times without any error. Im going to try running the test with 1 ram today night to check :). Ive already tried clearing dust out of fans/hdd/ processer chips, but still getting the BSOD. And im sure that the BSOD is never because of overheating or overcloaking of the comp because, the BSOD i get is always few mins after i switched on the computer.

Hi, i want to add something new

I just had a BSOD from playing the facebook game ( bushwhacker) again. This time, i noticed the stop was different. it was 0x0000000A. I didn''t have time to copy the rest as it auto-restarted after it reach 100 physical dump i think.

I suspect that the problem is most likely with your old nVidia drivers:
    Code:
    nvlddmkm.sys Wed Jan 07 15:42:34 2009 (496513BA)
Install these ones: NVIDIA DRIVERS 260.99 WHQL

If the BSODs persist, please create a new jcgriff2 report.

Could you update the drivers for your USB wireless adapter?
    Code:
    netr73.sys Thu Mar 12 23:13:15 2009 (49B9CF4B)
If not, try removing it for now.

Also, I'd like to see your nVidia Ethernet drivers updated. Download this nForce package: NVIDIA - Download Drivers

Tell it to extract to a location that you can remember easily, such as a new folder on your desktop. Then install the Ethernet drivers using the method described in this tutorial: Driver Install - Device Manager

Hi, thanks for the reply, may i ask how do i update the drivers for my USB wireless adapter?

Edit: im currently updating it already. However, all the ISATAP adapter that are exclamation marked are all updated but i cant find a way to fix it.

Edit 2: You just need the Ethernet driver right? so i can uncheck the Display and Away mode driver when im extracting the file?

Edit 3: I cant seem to find Other Devices---> Ethernet Controller in the Device Manager.

Edit 4: Okay, i found it, i need to enable hidden device first. So, i had done all these, do i need to make another jcgriff2?
