Looks like there are no problems with the file system and no bad sectors on the hard drive. I didn't really think the hard drive of the file were a problem.

Go ahead and run Memtest again from a cold boot.

Bad RAM can cause many different symptoms; but it is unlikely that it will damage any thing. RAM errors can also be caused by a faulty memory controller (motherboard), RAM not compatible with the motherboard, RAM sticks not compatible with each other, or even a failing power supply. However, since one stick is showing errors, odds are you a a faulty RAM stick.

Yes, you can. In fact, flashing from a CD or a USB stick is the safest way to flash.

I will ask the hardware gurus to look at this thread and give you guidance with setting voltages and the like. We may not get an immediate response since this is Christmas Eve. But we will get help.

With EZFlash2 click on the EZFlash bar at top. It's really simple I have used it several times. ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

Your RAM will not run at 1.65v without causing possible problems.
No RAM will with a P55 board unless in XMP mode.
Your RAM is NOT XMP Ram.
The maximum voltage suggested by INTEL is 1.5v. so the CPU isn't damaged.

It does not need to run at 1.65v for long life and stability of the system.

I have the same motherboard as you with Crucial Ballistic 1600.
It runs at about 1440 and stock voltages.
It is set at AUTO.

For the time being at least go into Bios and open the Ai Tweaker Tab

Set everything as in this picture below.

Specifically the DRAM Voltage setting to Auto - second part of picture in the middle.

If they are already AUTO you are good to go.
