    BSOD Driver_power_state_failure

    Hey
Earlier today i had a BSOD while my laptop was shutting down.
It's 4-5 months old and came with Windows 7 64 bit pre-installed, however its only a few days ago since i ran OS recovery and reinstalled windows.

I recently tried virtualization with VMware player and i got a feeling that it is the cause of the problem but i'm not sure.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Start be installing these updated ATI drivers: ATI Catalyst
Your current ones are a bit old:
    Code:
    atikmpag.sys Fri Dec 11 14:51:08 2009 (4B22A2AC)
    atipmdag.sys Fri Dec 11 15:33:38 2009 (4B22ACA2)
Also install the following drivers; links are to the right.
    Code:
    jmcr.sys Thu Jul 09 08:45:19 2009 (4A55E65F) - JMicron Card Reader -ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/CardRead...00.50_WHQL.zip
    NETw5s64.sys Tue Sep 15 15:40:39 2009 (4AAFEDB7) - Intel WiFi - http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=19302&ProdId=3062〈=eng
    Rt64win7.sys Fri May 22 10:52:30 2009 (4A16BC2E) - Realtek Ethernet - Realtek
Remove Threatfire with this tool: http://www.threatfire.com/files/Remo...tFire(3.0).zip

    Replace it with MSE: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials
    Code:
    NSKernel.sys Wed Nov 03 17:35:04 2010 (4CD1D588)
    NSNetmon.sys Wed Nov 03 17:34:55 2010 (4CD1D57F)
Now there is a good chance this is caused by hardware, so it may pay to run some diagnostics. Start by running a RAM test: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

    ...Summary of the dumps
    Code:

These drivers are out of date and should be updated, or the associated program uninstalled...

    Code:
