- Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer

- What is the age of system (hardware)? ~ 9 months
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) ~ 9 months (original install)

Attached is a zip file that contains a system health report (performance monitor) and the BSOD dump and file collector.

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit

Hi, Commander; welcome to the forum. Sorry that you are having a problem. I see two big potential causes: AVG and Zone Alarm. AVG is know to cause BSOD's on some Win 7 systems and Zone Alarm is a notorious and well documented cause of BSOD's with win 7. Uninstall ZA with this removal tool: http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/free/support/cpes_clean.exe. Uninstall AVG with this removal tool: Tool (64 bit). If you have Identity Protection installed, remove it with this tool: Tool. AVG is noted in your event log as an application failure. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on. For more protection, many of here use Malwarebytes (free) as an on demand scanner. MBAM runs well with Win 7.

Error code 7F, UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP. Usual causes: Memory corruption, Hardware (memory in particular), Installing a faulty or mismatched hardware (especially memory) or a failure after installing it, 3rd party firewall, Device drivers, SCSI/network/BIOS updates needed, Improperly seated cards, Incompatible storage devices, Overclocking, Virus scanner, Backup tool, Bad motherboard, Missing Service Pack.

UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7f)
This means a trap occurred in kernel mode, and it's a trap of a kind
that the kernel isn't allowed to have/catch (bound trap) or that
is always instant death (double fault). The first number in the
bugcheck params is the number of the trap (8 = double fault, etc)
Consult an Intel x86 family manual to learn more about what these
traps are. Here is a *portion* of those codes:
If kv shows a taskGate
use .tss on the part before the colon, then kv.
Else if kv shows a trapframe
        use .trap on that value
Else
.trap on the appropriate frame will show where the trap was taken
(on x86, this will be the ebp that goes with the procedure KiTrap)
Endif
kb will then show the corrected stack.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000008, EXCEPTION_DOUBLE_FAULT
Arg2: 0000000080050031

Outdated drivers can and do cause memory corruption and BSOD's. Those in red font font are really obsolete. Update or eliminate the following drivers.
Quote:
BIOS64.sys Sat Jun 07 20:12:00 2003 - This is an XP driver. It is probably a BIOSTAR I/O driver file. BIOSTAR :: Download. Update this driver or uninstall the software.

BS_I2cIo.sys Mon Dec 11 02:48:39 2006 - This is an XP driver. BIOSTAR I2C I/O driver. BIOSTAR :: Download. See above.

BS_TPIO64.sys Wed Apr 29 23:17:44 2009 - Biostar driver, BIOSTAR :: TA870+ :: Driver. Update his driver or uninstall the software.

iaStorV.sys Wed Apr 08 12:57:17 2009 - Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver (base), http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx. Update this driver.

Rt64win7.sys Thu Feb 26 04:04:13 2009 - RivaTuner/EVGA Precision/MSI Afterburner (known issues w/Win7), RivaTuner. Uninstall Riva Tuner.
Uninstall ZA and AVG, update or eliminate all of the above drivers, reboot, and let's see how your system does. Please post back and let us know. If you get another BSOD, upload it and we will go from there.

I noticed in your event logs that you have had more than one BSOD. If you have a cleaning program, Ccleaner, cleaning your system, make sure it does not delete dump files.
