    BSOD Bad pool header?

This problem just started the past few days and has been really annoying. It BSOD randomly when I'm using my laptop.
I have defragged, ran a full AV check (KIS 11), reinstalled and updated drivers. I hope its not a hardware problem the one thing I suspect would be the graphics card as its been displaying fuzzy every so often.

    Is Windows 7
    . . .

    - x64 Ultimate
    - the original installed OS on the system? Vista
    - Full Retail

    - What is the age of system (hardware)? 1 year
    - What is the age of OS installation? Half a year

Thanks for the solutions if you have any!

Hi, scan; and welcome to the forum. I looked at your three most recent dumps. Two of the three dumps directly blame Kaspersky. Kaspersky is a known cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. Uninstall it with this removal tool: Tool. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials in its place.

Out of date drivers can and do cause memory corruption and crashes. The following out of date drivers are loading on your system. They need to be updated or eliminated. Those in red font are really obsolete. Software and hardware designed for XP will not work with Win 7 if it cannot be update.

000.fcl Fri Sep 26 09:11:22 2008 - CyberLink FCL Driver. Video editing software, Multimedia Software and Blu-ray playback software by CyberLink. Update this software or uninstall it.

adfs.SYS Mon Nov 03 11:48:14 2008 - Adobe File System Driver. Adobe. See note below.

Apfiltr.sys Wed Dec 12 04:05:51 2007 - Alps pointing device. OEM - none at アルプス電気. Unistall this hardware or rename the driver.

btwl2cap.sys Fri Apr 03 20:28:45 2009 - Broadcom Bluetooth L2CAP Service from Broadcom Corporation belonging to Bluetooth Software. www.broadcom.com. Update this driver or uninstall Bluetooth.

    iaStor.sys Tue Apr 15 20:26:03 2008
    - Intel Storage drivers. http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx. Update this driver.

LMIRfsDriver.sys Mon Jul 14 12:26:56 2008 - RemotelyAnywhere Mirror Miniport Driver or LogMeIn Mirror Miniport Driver. https://secure.logmein.com/US/home.aspx. This software is obsolete; uninstall it.

    ManyCam_x64.sys Thu Mar 13 03:46:01 2008
    - ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Download ManyCam free virtual webcam and webcam graphics software!. If there is no update for this driver, uninstall the webcam. It is obsolete. Upgrade to a new webcam.

rimssn64.sys Tue Sep 02 04:50:00 2008 - Ricoh Memory Card Reader driver. OEM - none at Home | Ricoh Global. Try updated this driver through your computer manufacturer's website. If there is no update, uninstall the card reader. It is obsolete.

    RTKVHD64.sys Thu Jul 02 05:42:36 2009 - RivaTuner/EVGA Precision/MSI Afterburner (known issues w/Win7). RivaTuner. Uninstall Riva Tuner.

SFEP.sys Fri Aug 03 01:35:53 2007 - Sony Firmware Extension Parser driver. Sony eSupport - Electronics - Select Your Model. Update this driver.

VSTAZL6.SYS Wed Oct 15 20:53:42 2008 - Conexant SoftK56 Modem Driver. Conexant: Support. Update this driver. Try to update it from the Sony website.

    VSTCNXT6.SYS Wed Oct 15 20:52:22 2008
    - Conexant SoftK56 Modem Driver. Conexant: Support. See above.

    VSTDPV6.SYS Wed Oct 15 20:57:45 2008
    - Conexant SoftK56 Modem Driver. Conexant: Support. See above.

    yk62x64.sys Wed May 20 04:14:06 2009 - NDIS6.2 Miniport Drive,
    Marvell: Support.

       Note
To rename drivers, use Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\System 32\Drivers, locate the driver and rename it from .sys to .bak.

    How to find drivers -
    - I have listed links to most of the drivers in the code box above. Please use the links there to see what info I've found about those drivers.
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads
If you need help with the drivers, please post.

its been displaying fuzzy every so often.
    This suggest overheating

Kaspersky IS caused the BSOD, This was a known bug in the older 11.0.1.232 version which was caused by kl.sys. Update to 11.0.1.400. I had the same issue and I fixed it by doing a repair install of Kaspersky

    Attachment 118551

If the above does not work remove KIS and use MSE

    Code:

    *                                                                             *

    *******************************************************************************

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

That's weird KIS is causing the problem because I had the 2010 version the whole time and this problem never occurred until the last few days. I thought it too might be my AV and yesterday I put on KIS 2011, but the BSOD still occurs. I will uninstall KIS now and put MSE to see if it fixes it. Thanks

You have other potential cause, also. Read my post above.
