    Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
       #41

Happy new year to you, also.

You can change Windows Update to notify you rather than install. Then you can pick and choose your updates.

Your latest dump is a memory management error. All of your drivers appear to be up to date. I suggest you run Prime95 to test both your CPU and your RAM. Follow the instructions in this tutorial: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html. Run 3 separate tests, one on each of the settings (Blend, Small FFTs, Large FFTs). Post back with the results.

Well I reformatted again, because things just weren't working right. So here is the new JC Griff. I have had two BSOD's. One from a day or so ago and another when I was running Prime 95. It was during the Small FFT i believe. I had left the computer because my temps had been stable for 4 hours.

Both dumps are error code 1A, Memory Management. This has got to be a hardware or driver issue. All of you third party drivers appear to be up to date. I am suspecting hardware since you crashed running Prime95.

Try removing all but two sticks of RAM and running your machine. Let's see how it does.

One thing I noticed, that hasn't really occurred to me is that my RAM is DDR3 1600, but my system is running it at 1066, should I force it to 1600?

That is a question for the hardware Gurus. I am definitely not one. I do know that with your amount of RAM there probably needs to be a slight voltage increase and looser timings. I will ask the hardware guys to take a look at this thread. They are going to want some specific information.

Please post your CPUZ, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs. This will give everyone the basic info, Mainboard for the motherboard though the revision is usually not listed, Memory tab can indicate wrong OC attempts or wrong settings, confirmed by the SPD tab which is the JEDEC settings for the RAM. JEDEC is the industry standard that the RAM manufactures use to get stable settings for default.

We will also need the voltage settings for the CPU, RAM and NB or equivalent. NB or memory controller is important. CPU voltage is listed on the CPU tab, RAM voltage is listed but it's not the actual voltage; it's the recommended voltage.

    With reference to: https://www.sevenforums.com/1137528-post16.html

1288 is a high number of errors (ideally, should be 0), and, given that the address range where they occur is very specific,Ihave a feeling that it could be your RAM.

Can you remove all but the first stick of RAM and run memtest again. If you get no errors, repeat in the next slot. If you have tested all slots, move on to the next stick of RAM and carry on testing, a slot at a time. Remember that you are only testing a single stick at a time. Let us know if you get any errors. We're aware that this may take some time, so we'll be waiting for your reply.

Did you run the memtest86+ already?
Did you follow the tutorial that was posted previously, RAM - Test with Memtest86+?

If you post the CPUZ info here instead of a zip file it will make it easier for everyone to see what your settings are, they won't have to D/L and open them.

    Attachment 129979

The BIOS pic of everything in auto doesn't help us with the voltages.

Can you tell us what the DRAM and CPU/NB voltages are?

Your Motherboard web page Asus M4A78T-E

You have had 21 BIOS updates since version 1001. For things like:
    SSD issues
    RAM issues
    Improve system stability.
    Turbo mode
    Improve system stability.

The current BIOS version is 3406.
Do you know how to update the BIOS?

Leave your RAM at 1066, Your CPU has an integrated memory controller and it doesn't like the RAM to run at 1600, you can search this issue, a lot of people have tryed to solve this issue but, it seems there is no fix.

When you have large amount of RAM like 8GB and four RAM cards you will often need to adjust the settings a bit.
Let us know the voltages requested above, and we can try a couple of things.
