W7 Professional x64

Are you sure about the motherboard model number? You said in the first post that you had the 1600 crossfire.

under that model, P5KPL/1600, there are six.

When did you purchase this machine? And where from?

If your receipt says one board, and your machine is a different one, that is messed up.

I will research more issues and get back to you tomorrow. In the mean time, it can't hurt to update the BIOS to 0404 if you have 0403.

Win 7 32bit

actually this was the original order reciept and the final payment was different to the order due to lack of stock of the Xfire it was changed to the one that is in the machine. The processor was upgraded from an Intel Pentium Dual Core E6300 to Intel Pentium Dual Core E6500

sorry for the confusion, my fault

ok ive updated the BIOS to 0404 using the Asus Updater. Everything seems to be fine. Ill post if it crashes/freezes again but hopefully that should sort it.
