Netbook WiFi BSOD IRQL

hello,

i have been having strange BSOD, mostly DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL errors, which i think is this wifi adapter i have connected, since i have had BSOD when this is connected to other PC's, and usually happens when i disconnect from WiFI access point or just randomly when using the internet.

Here are the logs and minidumps attached for someone to examine if they wish

windows 7 enterprise x86
school netbook - lenovo mini 10
wifi adapter = belkin F5D7050

any assistance would be appreciated

First glaring problem, Symantec. Remove and replace with Microsoft security essentials

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall your Norton product | Norton Support

Second update these drivers at least.

How To Find Drivers:

- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

Third--Memory. Run memtestx86

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.


Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

thanks for the reply,

the only thing i could do about with Symantec was to disable it for now, cause this is a school netbook and i prob shouldn't remove it at this stage
However i discovered that Tppwr32v.sys is related to lenovo's power manager application and Tppwr32v.sys is the driver for the program. So i removed the program and removed the driver for that as well

The athrusb.sys file is related to Atheros Extensible Wireless LAN device the version is 2.2.0.27, it came with the Belkin F5D7050 wireless adapter software package so i couldn't really find a newer driver for it i think.

Ran memory test and no errors :)

Sorry for late reply just testing it with these changes to see if BSOD would occur again, so far so good, i think. i might reply back if there is another BSOD happens again lol
