Random but often BSOD on Win7
I have recently bought an Aspire TimeLineX 4820TG with 64bit Windows 7 Home Premium installed.
At the store I was received an extra 2GB of RAM and had this installed then and there by the professionals.
I have been having regular crashes or BSOD's, where the notebook will freeze, then restart moments later. This occurs very often sometimes days apart, sometimes a few times a day.
I have installed installed all driver updates through the local Acer driver application.
I have purchased external USB cooling fans to cool the unit, as the system is sometimes used to play graphically intensive games. Crashing seems to occur no more often in or out of games, or at elevated temperatures.
I have run checks on all drivers installed and only two are unsigned, these two I have checked online and found them to be compatible with Windows 7. (They are: Mungodriver.sys and vclone.sys)
I have also updated my bios to version 1.19, which seems to have made little difference. I have researched this problem and have found some people account this problem to power management, and RAM speeds or amounts. Most recommend updating the bios as I have done. I have also disabled all options in my power management settings so that sleeping, screensavers and even turning off of the monitor are all disabled. This has not helped my crashing problem. Some people recommend overclocking the RAM. This is a bit beyond my expertise, but I know that this might harm my hardware.
I have run virus scans using the latest Avast Antivirus with nothing found.
I have included a copy of my latest dump and system info.
Please help if you are able, I'd appreciate it greatly!
