BSOD caused by win32k.sys
Causes: Bad Memory, heat, overclocking
Run System File checker SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Run memtest RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Code:
BugCheck 1000008E, {c0000005, 92a00d0b, 97388ae8, 0}

Probably caused by : win32k.sys ( win32k!GreStretchBltInternal+58

Thanks for your reply, I have ran both things you have mentioned as this has been happening for over a week and the ram and the other test all comes back fine.

Remove any Avira Anivirus and use MSE
Also run a scan of Malwarebytes

The problem seems to be RAM related, are you overclocking?

Sorry but I don't even know what over clocking Is, I have taken out one of my ram sticks so I am running windows 7 on just 1GB of ram for now to see If It plays up and If It does I will take this ram out and try with just the other 1GB stick and report back later In time. Thank you very much for your help and time, I really appreciate It
