I am running windows 7 home premium.
repro steps are turn on computer and walk away. I changed the power saver settings thinking it might be something when it goes to sleep but no dice. This is a full retail version that was purchased from a microsoft website. The computer it is on is a 2 years old dell xps m1530. This is the original install as I do not have the windows disc.

Finally I can run the performance monitor but the "perfmon /report" command just tells me i have the wrong parameters.
