    Ok my comuters condition has degraded, now it restarts without a blue screen right after the starting windows splash screen. I took the hard drive out and connected it to another computer and found this file (attached) it has a bunch of errors here is the main line of each

    ERROR 0xE0000102: SetupFindFirstLine generated an unexpected error. skipping inf
    {INF Info}
    Current INF = C:\Windows\Temp\IIF2\Winall\Driver64\iaAHCI.inf

    ERROR 0x2: Error querying registry key

    ERROR 0x2: CopyFile generated an unexpected error.
    [InstallSingleAppElement]
    New Uninstall Key = copyfile56
    Copy File Source = C:\Windows\Temp\IIF2\Application\Removedrv\ENU\removdrv.txt
    Copy File Destination = C:\Program Files (x86)\Intel\Intel Matrix Storage Manager\removdrv.txt

    Warning 0xE0000235: DriverPackageGetPath failed.
    Difx = 64 bit
    Execute command: C:\Windows\Temp\IIF2\x64\Difx64.exe -DriverInf "C:\Windows\Temp\IIF2\Winall\Driver64\iaAHCI.inf" -Flags 20 -KeyPath "Software\Intel\Difx64"
    Using RegDeleteKeyEx

    Now from this it seems there is a problem with the intel matrix storage driver as someone else suggested.

    I do not have a windows Cd so i cannot reinstall, so is there any way i could download the driver to this harddrive (its not the main harddrive of this computer and when i tried installing the driver before ( idont even know if it was the right one) it said the system specs were too low).

    Hmm, this seems very similar to my problem which I posted a few hours ago (no replies). I can't even get it passed the windows log in splash page in normal or any safe mode without it going to BSOD. I'll have a look into the matrix storage driver issue too.

    Hi,

    Sorry for bringing up the old topic I have the same problem and really need to get it fixed as soon as possible.
    Does installing a new windows help?

    Thanks.
