    Periodic hang-ups/delays

I've just updated my hardware in preparation for WoW:Cataclysm. I've got a PhenomII X4 3.0GHz, ASUS M4A785-M mobo and i've tried using a radeon hd4670 and a slightly more beefy geforce card i've gotten from a friend. This is a brand new install on some drives i've been using for a while, never had any issues with the drives.

Occasionally, while playing WoW the system will stop responding long enough to disconnect me. To be clear, I am still able to run/move within the game, neither the game nor the system as a whole seems to be frozen. Since i've noticed this issue, i've started running the resource monitor on my second screen. When the system seems to stop responding, CPU usage drops to 0%. I know WoW isn't the culprit as i've seen it do this while watching netflix and other less-intense applications as well. I primarly want to make sure it isn't hardware at fault before my RMA period with newegg runs out. PLEASE HELP!! thanks!

EDIT: To be clear, i have not had and BSOD's

Well, i might be inclined to agree if it was just WoW having an issue or if my other network devices were having issues. I've read reviews that say this particular model of board does have a flaky nic, but since then i've installed a PCI nic and swapped out my cable and i'm still having issues. Plus that still doesn't explain why CPU usage would drop to 0%.

Ok let this half wit drop out explain to you what no one can seem to figure out not even microsoft for this matter.

Do this start run dxdiag look at directx ver it will say 11 if running 7.

Now look at your video card it only supports 10.1

You are going to have hang ups kernal driver mode failure cause it is a driver and your card don't support it.

Microsoft warned no one of this. The program is telling people there pc is compatable when it is not only a small handful of video cards support directx 11 very small handful.

Thats why most people using certain ati cards that support 11 don't have any issue what so ever you'll are having almost all geforce cards don't support directx 11.

Hope this helps you'll out. The low down from the half wit drop out.
