All Prime95 tests run and no errors.

Just found out that the new ATI drivers for my card (Radeon HD 6870) are out - released yesterday. I'll download these and install ASAP then post results i.e. do I still have crashes, etc. I'll also be sure to use driver sweeper when removing the old drivers. Fingers crossed this fixes the issue.

Any other thoughts at the moment? Especially related to the fact that Prime95 seemed to flag no errors?

    Thanks, Alex

Prime showing no errors tells us your CPU and RAM are probably OK. Let's see if the new ATI drivers solve the problem.

So far, no problems since I installed the new drivers. Let's hope it stays that way. Have a good weekend everyone.

This is the only problem I've had in almost a week though and it was fairly minor. Still an issue though. I had gone out for a while so the PC was idle and then when I woke it up I got the driver error.
