    Problem Even Name: Blue Screen?

As per your suggestion, I have attached the file "Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2".
for some reason when I run the “perfmon /report” command, an error message saying that “An error occurred while attempting to generate the report…the System cannot’ find the path specified.”

Please advise me how I can resolve this issue.

Thank you very much for your help.

    Cheers,
    Kum

    Hi All,

This is the first time I'm using this forum and I’d really appreciate any input on the issues I’m having with my computer.

I bought this computer from Dell in the summer of 2010. [specification: System: Inspiron 580-64bits; Porcess-Intel core™i5 cpu]

This is what I’m going through with my system….
    • It takes at least 5 minutes for the computer to shut down completely. This wasn’t the case in the very beginning but was evident after I installed Rogers online protection system [I hadn’t installed any programs prior to that].
    • For the last two weeks I’m getting the following Blue Screen error. The computer allows me to log in and then suddenly shuts down. When I start the computer again, I’m asked whether to start Windows ‘normally’, in ‘safe mode’, or a few other options. When I start Windows normally, it’s the same blue screen error message and shut down process all over again. I thought may be there is a virus so I tried to start in the safe mode. I ran a virus scan which resulted in a couple of viruses being found and deleted along with some Spyware cookies. However, this step didn’t fix anything; the computer is still shutting down as soon as I log in and I get the blue screen error message again. I am unable to use the computer at all.
    • I also noticed that there is another blue screen error message before its shut down which I couldn’t read it because its only shows for a few seconds I couldn’t even read the error message.

I really need to resolve this issue as soon as possible and would greatly appreciate if I can get detailed instructions that would help me to do that.
