    AutoFailOver

    Hello,

Two days ago I started to get "blue screens" that display for a few seconds and then reboot the PC. I cannot read them properly and I cannot make a screenshot either. All I managed to read on them is something to do with "dumping something"... I also get my PC to go sort of out of sync - as if each horizontal pixel line would shift to either of the sides creating a pattern (so I guess it's no ordinatry BSoD problem). That obviously freezes the computer. When starting it again I agreed for the "Setup Restore" (I'm not sure if that's the right name...) but it was unsuccessful in fixing the issue. All I got was a report saying it's a "PROBLEM SIGNATURE 01 AUTOFAILOVER".

Could someone PLEASE help me answering the following questions and possibly fix this issue?
    1) Is this a SOFTWARE or a HARDWARE issue?
    2) If it's Software, would System Repair from the Windows DVD help?
    3) If it's Software, could it be caused by a Bad Sector on my Hard Drive (Hardware)?
    4) If it's my Hard Drive, what disk scan-repair software would you recommend to check it with (my Scan Disk does nothing after a reboot)?
    5) Could software like "CCleaner" fix it by cleaning the registry files (I've done that and I seem to get the PC problems less often)?

    I am using:
    Widows 7 64bit
    Phenom II (six core)
    ~8GB RAM
    ATi Radeon HD4890 2GB
(but I believe anything apart from the system matters not)

All help is very much appreciated!
    Thanks
