    Windows Explorer has stopped working.

Hi all, first post. My names Greg and my HP TX2000 taplet will not let me open any documents (my computer, my documents nothing)
When you click on anything like my documents, my computer, pictures ect... it will open then straight away come up with Windows Explorer has stopped working. Also does this when you right click on a folder on the desktop.

After it's come up with it's stopped working it comes up with Do yo want to send more information about the problem? I then click on View Details and it says the following:
    C:\Users\Admin.AdminPC\AppData\Local\Temp\WER2F89.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
    C:\Users\Admin.Admin-PC\AppData\Local\Temp\WER519A.tmp.appcompat.txt
    C:\Users\Admin.Admin-PC\AppData\Local\Temp\WER51DA.tmp.mdmp

I've tried Ccleaner and that didn't work.

Also tried doing chkdsk /f/r twice with no luck.

Thanks to anyone that could help me out.

    Ok will do thanks.

Thought i would mention i did copy all the files from a friends hdd as there computer went wrong (XP) would this affect it? He wanted to keep some of the programs on there (paid for ones) so i copied the 'Program Files' folder.
    Would this affect it?

Will report back with what happens with malware. Thanks.

Already tried that as well, said it found some bad files, rebooted and still the same I'll try it again though just be to on the safe side. I can't put a new OS on it because i've got data on there i need and no way of getting it off as it won't let me copy&paste

Right i ran SFC /SCANNOW And it came back with:

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir/Logs/CBS/CBS.log. For example C:/Windows/Logs/CBS/CBS.log

    C:/Windows/system32>

    Anyone know?

Update, tried the ShellExView, that didn't help. I only disabled non microsoft stuff. I then made a new account, i can now get on everything llike my documents, pictures ect.. BUT i still can't get on my computer. (This is on the new account) So there is obviously something wrong in the files. Would me coping all of the Program Files off of my friends hdd on to my documents (XP) affect this? I only copied them because he wanted some of the paid software off of there. Will try the Registry fix now and report back.
