For the last few days my windows search is not working, Doesn't bring the results. Not sure what happened. Whatever I search produces only the following illustrated.

I appreciate any support to fix it. Thanks in advance.

Rebuild the index. Control Panel > System and Security > Action Center > Troubleshooting (at the very bottom) > System and Security > and under Windows, click "Search and Indexing"

Go through the troubleshooter, eventually (if it doesn't solve it) it will take you to "Explore additional Options, then click on search help and support, where you can type into the top index search or something similar

(almost there): then click "change Advanced Indexing Options", then "To Rebuild Index", and follow instructions. Simple? :)

Hard for me to find the search without searching for it. Ironic?

Under Win 7 I do not find this navigation. (Control Panel > System and Security ...) But I see only System.
I also see Indexing Options. Under Indexing Options I went to troubleshoot search and indexing, But the it didn't say any errors. I only get "Troubeshooting did'n't find any problem".
But under the Search and Indexing > Advanced I see Rebuild. Should I do that?

    Thanks,
