Right, who would do that. Except maybe on a very small SSD where you are really fighting for space. But in this case you should image the system as often as needed - the system restore shedule scheme is probably a good guide.

Good point about the SSD drives. Keep forgetting about how small those drives can be for the budget minded. In this case an image works as you suggest.

Stupid mistake
hello,i was trying to remove "suggested sites" completely as its driving me crazy (and its crap,for me anyway) as it keeps reappearing in IE8 ,so i went to ie8 file location and changed "open with" to notepad and now i cant change it back to batch file,any ideas please?,thanks:(
