    BSOD Driver_Power_State_Failure

Been having consistent BSOD with my Sony Vaio VGN-SR590 w/ Win7 Pro x64. Have run multiple malware, anti-virus and ad-ware scans. No help. Symptoms include failure to sleep, hibernate or shut down without BSOD. Any help would be appreciated. Latest dump attached.

To DeanP....I wasn't aware I had multiple firewalls and av. There are components installed, as an example Windows firewall and Iolo System mechanic AV, but I believe they are disabled. The only AV and firewall known to be running is Zone Alarm.

Was hoping to get msinfo32 with your zipped file.

A driver is causing an inconsistent power state.
Don't have list of drivers, so you will need to check the latest drivers for video, network and Realtek audio.

Also, try running msinfo, going to startup tab, and unchecking all drivers EXCEPT those belonging to Microsoft for testing purposes.

Has this problem always occurred or is it recent? If recent, was it after an event, such as program install, power failure, etc.?

Checked out the Saitek site. To my knowledge have none of their products installed. Searched for the Sahdad64.sys file on my computer, couldn't find it. Updated the clone CD program. The ElbyCDFL.sys date/time-stamp updated from previous. Searched for the SFEP.sys on my computer to get date/time-stamp for a search on the sony site. It also can't be found. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help.

Tried to do a driver verifier report from directions found elsewhere on the forum. Couldn't get a reboot so had to go to safe mode and unload verifier. Have gone the msinfo route, but will try one more time. Problem has only recently surfaced, within last 60 days. Laptop is something I carry on the road, been working out of home of late, hence using desktop. Noticed this problem only recently, after installing a slug of Microsoft updates. Tried the MS hotfix described in KB 975599. No help. The only program installed in the interim was Roxio Creator 2011 Pro. No known issues with the install or use of that program. No known power failure. Thanks for the help.
